Fire and Ice For The New York Times

The sauna and cold plunge culture in Minnesota isn’t for the faint of heart. We loved working on this project for The New York Times that had us photographing people enjoying polar opposites in the heat of a sauna and the icy cold waters of a frozen lake. Visually as a photographer, you couldn’t ask for a more visually rich project to work on. From the stream of a sauna to the icy cold plunges it was a visual delight to photograph this one.
